Hello Friends!
This week’s newsletter comes with a bit of a Florida plot twist: colder temps, rain, and yes… maybe even snow flurries Saturday night into Sunday morning ❄️ (I know, I know, the rest of the country is rolling their eyes). Because of the weather, some events may change or get cancelled last-minute, so be sure to double-check details before heading out this weekend. As always, I’ve rounded up a mix of things to do with the kiddos, without them, and everything in between.

Major Transformation Underway at Waterside Shops in Naples
While it's a bit out of our usual Fort Myers to North Naples coverage area, the significant changes happening at Waterside Shops are worth taking a look, especially with the nearest RH location currently a couple hours away and limited cooking specialty stores in our region.

Pottery Barn & Williams Sonoma Return in Style
Both stores just reopened on January 23rd in a completely renovated two-story building that formerly housed Barnes & Noble. Williams Sonoma had been closed since last January, leaving the nearest location all the way in Sarasota. The new space features modern layouts and an outdoor patio area. Pottery Barn is hosting a grand opening celebration on February 6th from 4-6 p.m. with music and refreshments at 5377 Tamiami Trail N.

RH: A Destination Furniture Gallery Coming to Naples
The biggest news is RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), which is transforming the former Nordstrom site into a stunning furniture gallery and dining destination. The nearly 30,000-square-foot space will feature six separate galleries connected by landscaped courtyards and glass-roofed walkways, centered around a full-service restaurant and wine bar for 174 guests beneath an elongated glass atrium. Construction permits were issued in August, with opening targeted for late 2026. This will be Southwest Florida's first RH location.
Ann Taylor closed on January 22nd and White House Black Market shuttered on January 24th, making way for luxury brands like Dior and Brunello Cucinelli. Additional changes include Eddie V's Prime Seafood currently under construction and Buck & Rider seafood restaurant planned for late 2026.
