Haunted Walk is a fundraiser to bring in the money necessary to take care of all of our animal residents at the Calusa Nature Center for the coming year.

Enjoy music, photo ops, and balloon art, plus a chance to strut your pup in our pet costume contest benefiting the Gulf Coast Humane Society.

We will walk around the park, then paint at the picnic tables by the playground. If you just want to walk + not paint, feel free to join us for just that!

Not sure what to do with your child's old Halloween costumes? Bring them to the library's Halloween Costume Swap and pick out a new costume for this year. The library is also currenlty accepting costume donations.

Join us for Thrilling Train Rides through Lakes Park. Halloween Express. Visit our miniature train village complete with witches, ghosts and our famous tunnel of dancing lights.

The event will include a pumpkin patch, bounce houses, hayrides, 'Scarecrows in the Park', the popular Halloween Express train & concessions.

This parent drop-off event is A Scary Skele-bration for kids ages 5–14. This frightfully fun evening will begin with a mini maze full of thrills and excitement, followed by a costume contest, interactive games, and exciting prizes to keep the energy high all night long.

This isn’t your average scream-and-run attraction. At Dark Harvest, you’re not just watching the horror unfold -- you’re part of it. With cinematic special effects, immersive storytelling, and physical interaction that blurs the line between fiction and fear, guests are pulled into a living nightmare where the creatures don’t just lurk... they reach out and touch.

This eerie-sistable event will take place at three designated times throughout the day and the museum will ONLY be open for members and guests with Halloween Spooktacular event tickets.

Family-friendly trail Scavenger Hunt (beginners welcome) 4pm-6pm.
7pm After-dark Ghost Hunt on horseback—bring a flashlight; prizes for finding all the “ghosts.” Riders may enter either the Fun Ride or the Ghost Hunt (not both). BYO horse or rent on-site. Spots are limited.

A night of family friendly and spooktacular fun. Activities include a trunk-or-treat and a donation drive benefiting the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).  Stay for a Movie in the Park, featuring “The Minecraft Movie” rated PG.   The movie starts at 7:15 p.m.

Then, at 2:00 PM, enjoy a magical concert filled with whimsical, family-friendly Halloween music inspired by Hogwarts and beyond. Costumes encouraged!

Kick off Halloween with center-wide trick-or-treating 5–7 PM, then a courtyard Costume Contest 7–8 PM (ages 0–4, 5–9, 10–13 + Best Group).
